Kyoto Shibori Museum

Kyo-Kanoka-Shibori is named after the three-dimensional pattern that resembles spots on a fawn.

Shibori is Japan's most ancient fabric dyeing technique.

Hon-hitta shibori is a technique where the fabric is pinched and bound 9 times with a non-twisted silk thread called Shike-ito.
